One of the biggest highlights of the tournament was the outstanding performance of our Grade 8 winger, Moline Adhiambo, who was deservedly crowned the MVP. Her explosive runs, fearless heavy carries, and exceptional work rate made her one of the standout players of the day.

The Under-15 Girls Head Coach, Alfred Okoth, congratulated the girls for their high spirits, bravery, and strong hearts in battling against high school opposition.

The Director of Rugby, Lombardo Otieno, also commended the girls for their resilience and encouraged teams across the Nyanza region to invest more in young girls’ rugby, noting that women’s rugby continues to create equal opportunities in today’s world. He emphasized that Winam Rugby Academy remains committed to developing girls’ rugby in Kisumu and the wider Nyanza region.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, parents, and supporters for an inspiring performance.
